How to Play Chrome Dino Fullscreen

Google Chrome’s famous dino game has an arcade mode built right in. This article explains how to play it, no dead internet connection required.

The dino game is the page Chrome shows when your computer is offline. When Chrome detects there’s no internet connection, it displays this page, which doubles as a simple game.

Open Dino Game at chrome://dino

You can open the dino game even while you’re online. You don’t have to disconnect from the internet to launch it.

Open chrome://dino in a new tab to play the game. You’ll see a dinosaur standing still next to the offline error message.

Press the spacebar to get started. The dinosaur starts running and the screen switches to full-screen arcade mode automatically, no extra steps needed.

To make the dino jump, press the spacebar. Your current score and high score show in the top-right corner.

If you hit a cactus, it’s game over. Your T-Rex gets stuck, and you’ll have to start over.
