Chrome OS now gives you an easy way to delete temporary Google Drive offline files. The Storage Management menu now has an option to delete these temporary files with one click.
The Files app on your Chromebook has a Google Drive section. You can access all your Google Drive files from here. When you select a file, it is downloaded and opened. You also have an option to select a bunch of files and store them offline.
From time to time, you will need to delete these temporary files that you no longer need. Chromebooks do not have a lot of offline storage, you know.
So, here is how you do it:
- Go to Settings > Storage Management
- Click the delete icon next to Offline files.
- Click Delete files to confirm.
- Done!
Hope you find this useful.
