How to Disable Javascript on Google Chrome

Javascript is enabled by default on Google Chrome and other browsers. Most websites require Javascript to work properly. However, it is possible to disable javascript on Chrome.

Disable Javascript

  1. Click the three-dots settings menu.Chome Three Dots Settings Icon
  2. Choose Settings.

  3. Select Privacy and security from the side panel.Privacy and Security

  5. Scroll down, and under content, select JavaScript.Chrome JavaSript
  6. To disable JavaScript, select Don’t allow sites to use Javascript under Default behavior.Disable JavaScript

You now know how to disable JavaScript on Google Chrome. From the same page, you can add an exception to your default setting. For example, you can enable JavaScript by default and select specific websites where JavaScrpit will be disabled.
