How to Move Chrome Side Panel Left

Chrome Side Panel Position

Google recently added a sidebar to Chrome. Google is currently busy adding new and existing features to the sidebar. In the meantime, they also added an option to change the position of the sidebar.

In this article, I will show you how to change the Google Chrome sidebar from right to left or left to right.

Change Chrome Sidebar Position

To change the position of Google Chrome side panel:

  1. Click the three-dots settings icon.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. From the left pane, select Appearance.
  4. Under the side panel section, choose Show on the right or Show on left.

Open the side panel (aka sidebar) again and it should now appear in the new position.
