Google is working on a new feature that allows you to use pictures from Google Photos as Chromebook wallpaper. This article shows you how to select a Google Photo as your Chromebook wallpaper.

Note: This feature is currently in development. I am documenting it from the Canary channel of Chrome OS. You might have to wait a few more weeks before you can do this on our Chromebook.

Google Photos as Chromebook Wallpaper

To pick a Google Photos picture as your Chromebook wallpaper:

  1. Open the Settings app.Chrome OS Settings App
  2. From the left pane, select Personalization.Personlization on Chromebook
  3. Select Wallpaper.Wallpaper on Chromebook
  4. Select Google Photos.Select Google Photos Category
  5. Select a photo or an album.Select an Album

Change Photos Daily

If you select an album instead of a single picture, click Change Daily to automatically change the wallpaper every day.
