Google Chrome now has a built-in tool to capture and edit screenshots. In this article, I will show you how to take screenshots using your Google Chrome browser.
Capture a Screenshot Using Google Chrome
If the Google Chrome version you are using has the screenshot tool, you will see the following icon in the address bar. Look for this icon right next to the bookmarks icon.
You will now see Chrome’s built-in sharing menu. Click Screenshot.
You can now select the part of the screen that you want to take a screenshot of. Drag and select the area.
When you let go of your mouse cursor, Google Chrome takes a screenshot of the selected area. Click Download to download the screenshot.
You also have an option to edit the screenshot. However, this feature is not working yet. We will update this article when the edit feature is functional.
