The Easiest Way to Find ID of Chrome Extensions and Apps

François Beaufort shared an interesting chrome:// page today. It shows a lot of useful information about Google Chrome extensions and apps. The biggest attraction of this page, to me, is the extension ID.

The page lists all extensions, hosted apps, packaged apps and components, along with their Name, ID, Status (enabled or disabled), version and Description.

Here is how to access this page: open chrome://net-internals/#modules from your omnibar.

chrome-extension-id

This page is more useful than the chrome://extensions page that we are used to, because this lists much more information, and not just extensions. But yes, for a quick look at your installed extensions, enabling or disabling a few.

And yes, you can view Chrome extension ID from the chrome://extensions page as well.
