Developer Koushik Dutta of Cyanogenmod has been teasing Android mirroring to Chromecast for a few days. Today, he shared a video of his Android phone mirroring to a Chromecast connected TV, and yes, playing Flappy Bird on it.

I am not sure if he is planning to bring this as a feature in his AllCast Android app or bake it into Cyanogenmod Android. But looking at the response on his posts about Chromecast mirroring, I am sure this is going to be a HUGE hit.

There are not a lot of details available about this feature/app, but in one of the comments, he said “fills the tv screen. looks decent. vp8/webm/wrbrtc is not the greatest quality.”

This will be an interesting thing to watch in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more.
