Chrome to Get a Delete Button for Autocomplete

Google Chrome is making it easy for you to delete autocomplete suggestions from the address bar. An upcoming Chrome feature will add a delete button next to suggestions.

Delete button for autocomplete entries

Here is the new Google Chrome experimental flag I spotted today:

Show a delete button for Autocomplete entries: When enabled, Autocomplete entries in filling popups will contain a delete button

How does it work?

The new flag, when enabled, adds an ‘x’ button next to autocomplete entries.

This is still a work-in-progress feature. I won’t be surprised if the ‘x’ button is replaced with something pretty. When I read the flag description, I actually expected something fancy. The ‘x’ button works, but it will be nice to have a better button, in my opinion.

I am sure there won’t be any argument against this new feature. I would love to hear your thoughts on this one. Let me know in the comments section below.
