How to Stop “Allow Paste” Notifications in Chrome on iPhone

If you use Google Chrome on your iPhone and see the “Allow Paste” prompt every time you try to paste something, here is your solution. This is part of Apple’s privacy feature that alerts you when an app wants to access content you’ve copied.

While it’s designed to protect your data, the constant alerts can get annoying, because, well, pasting is a common thing we do while using a browser.

The good news is, you can turn off this notification for Chrome by adjusting a simple setting in your iPhone.

Manually Allow Paste for Chrome on iPhone

You can let Chrome access your clipboard without asking every time. Here’s how to do it:

Chrome on iPhone - Allow Paste
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Chrome.
  3. Tap Paste from Other Apps.
  4. Select Allow.

That’s it. Chrome can now paste content without sending a notification each time.

This setting is app-specific, so if you want to allow paste access for other apps, you’ll need to follow the same steps for each one.

Did that work? Let me know in the comments section below.
