Here is the Redesigned Chrome Task Manager – With Search

Google is redesigning or reorganizing the Chrome task manager. The new design is currently available in the Canary channel version of Google Chrome.

Before I show you the new design, here is the old one.

Now, here is the updated design.

The task manager is no longer a long list of processes, apps, extensions and so on. Google has added categories as tabs to organize them.

You can see:

• Tabs
• Extensions
• Browser

To make things even easier, you now have a search field. You can quickly find the extension, tab or process you are looking for.

If you regularly hit your computer’s memory limits while using Chrome, this willcome handy.

Also, if you are a developer, finding out what’s happening in your browser will now be a tad bit easier.
