If you are into productivity and self-improvement, Focus Mode and ambient music won’t be a new thing for you. I regularly use the Focus Mode playlist on Spotify while working.
Android comes with a built-in Focus Mode feature and recently Chrome OS also followed suit. A new Chromium Gerrit commit that I spotted talks about adding YouTube Music integration to the upcoming Focus Mode.

These two new Chrome OS flags are expected to hit the Canary and Dev channels of Chrome OS soon. I do not have much information on how this will work, but I can make an educated guess.
You can enable YouTube Music integration with Focus Mode and every time you switch on Focus Mode, a selected YTM playlist will start playing.
Google is integrating Focus Mode with Tasks as well. With that, your Chromebook is all geared up to be a productivity machine.
