How to Check Which Version of Chrome OS You Are Running

Wondering which version of Chrome OS you have on your Chromebook? In this article, I’ll show you how to find your Chrome version.

Finding Chrome OS Version

To get started, click the battery and wifi icons on the bottom right corner of your screen.

This opens your quick settings panel. Select the Settings icon.

When the Settings app opens, scroll down to find About ChromeOS.

You will find the Chrome OS version just blelow the Chrome OS logo.

    That is actually the Chrome browser version not the chromeOS version.
    To get the chromeOS version open chrome://version in a new tab and look at the line beginning with Platform:

    Well, that is actually the chromeOS version.
    You can also check this in chrome://system and at https://cros.tech/device/eve/ or a number of different locations.
