You can now mute websites on Google Chrome with a single click. In this article, I will show you how to mute sites on Chrome.

Mute Websites on Google Chrome

When a website is making too much noise, content or notifications, it is a good idea to mute sound from that website. Google Chrome now offers an easy way to do this.

Unfortunately, there is no keyboard shortcut to mute websites on Chrome, yet.

So, how do you mute a website?

Right-click the tab you want to mute. A menu of tab actions is displayed.

Choose ‘Mute site‘.

When you are done, you can either close the tab or right-click again and choose Unmute site.
