Google Moving ‘Journeys’ to Chrome Side Bar

On the side panel, a new Google Chrome experiment puts ‘Journeys‘, a new way of looking at your browsing history.

Google recently added a side panel to Chrome. At present, the side panel hosts a Chrome reading list and bookmarks. A new flag I spotted today in the Chromium code talks about adding Journeys to the side panel.

Side panel journeys: Enables Journeys within the side panel.

Disable Chrome Joruneys

Journeys help you visualize your browsing history as categories and themes. It helps you easily go back to a browsing session and look at it as a theme that you were searching for instead of a bunch of web pages.

Now, is it useful enough to find a permanent spot on the side panel? Maybe not. I would love to see a side panel where I can pick and choose what I want to see. Give me a few options, including Journeys.

What is your opinion? Do you want to give your browsing history a permanent spot on the side panel? Let me know in the comments section below.
