A New (Cleaner) Settings UI for Chrome on Android?

The latest version of Chrome for Android (Canary) is testing a cleaner settings UI.

It is possible that I missed an article or tweet about this. However, I stumbled up on this new UI today.

Use the slider to view the old and new versions.

Settings UI on Chrome for Android

You will notice that the list is about half compared to what I have on the Stable version of Chrome.

Google has also added icons for each of those items. This is a small change, but I find it really useful already. And I’ve been using it only for a day or two.

I would love to hear from you on this. Let me know if this is actually new, that’ll be the first thing that I want to confirm.

Second, I would love to hear your thoughts on the new design. Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

(Thank you John for your help).

Looks like that option is still there when you scroll down.
