Are you an Chrome OS fan interested in testing Beta/Dev/Canary versions of the operating system? Here is an unofficial community for you. Built on the Google Groups platform, this new community is named simply “Chrome OS Testing”.
Craig Tumblison, the Chrome OS fan who created this community states the mission of the community as “earlier, better detection of issues, reducing the number of issues that make it through to stable releases of Chrome OS.”
“It is not endorsed by the Chrome OS team. Leading this project are a handful of top contributors from the support forum who deal with bugs on a daily basis.”
Craig is an expert in community management and heads the Chromebook community on Google Plus, and also moderates the Chrome OS community on Reddit. It is no surprise then that this community comes highly organized, with detailed instructions on how to report and discuss things.
If you are a Chrome OS fan using any version other than the stable release, I highly recommend joining and contributing to this group.
