Google Chrome on Windows 8 Gets Pinch to Zoom Enabled by Default

Looks like Windows 8 is where Chrome is getting lots of love, second to just Chrome OS. François Beaufort reports about one of the latest developments there:

Owning a Windows touch device? You’ll be happy to learn that Pinch-To-Zoom has been enabled by default in Chrome Canary for Windows 8 or above – both desktop and metro experiences.

If you are Windows 8 user with a touch screen device, definitely good news for you. For others who cannot try this out (I mean, if you don’t have a Pixel or Acer touchscreen Chromebook), here is a video demo:
