HP Pavilion Chromebook Set for February 17th Release

A leaked spec sheet from HP has revealed that they have a 14″ Chromebook ready for February 17th release. There is nothing special about the device itself, other than the 14″ screen size.

  • Memory – 2GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) Maximum supported = 4GB

  • Display – 14.0-inch diagonal HD(3)BrightView LED-backlit display (1366 x 768)
  • 3 Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0

  • 1 Headphone-out/microphone-in combo jack
  • Weight – Unpackaged: 3.96 lb(9)
  • Battery – Up to 4 hours and 15 minutes

Price? No info yet. But looking at the specs, I think it is going to be around $300. Or may be more because it is HP, not Acer.

What makes this Chromebook different, or better when compared to others? Nothing much, at least for now, unless you need a bigger screen.
