I have been a G-Chrome user since it was released... Then I got a new HP laptop. The first download was G-Chrome...and it worked... for about a week. Then some how if became reconfigured and will no longer do anything. It just displays "about:blank" in the URL address...no matter what is entered.

I first tried to restore the PC to an earlier date...didn't help. I then uninstalled Chrome and re-downloaded and installed again....no help. I uninstalled it waited two weeks and installed it a third time...trying to import Firefox and I.E settings and bookmarks.. Still will not work....HELP!

can you try resetting everything to default form chrome options menu ?

I've tried resetting everything to original default....that doesn't do anything... "about:blank"... is still displayed in URL address line. Really frustrating.

on settings, what do you have, for "homepage" .. is it about blank, or any other option ? can you try changing that ?

if that doesnt work, uninstall chrome, and from program files, delete files related to chrome ( careful, only chrome ) and then install it again .
