There is a lot of stuff going around for the past couple of days about a Chrome OS tablet coming to kill the iPad.
Do you believe that ?
I don’t. I would say Chrome OS tablet will be coming only after a Chrome OS Netbook. As of now, Android tablets look possible, but the business plan of Google for Chrome OS is slightly different from the tablet PCs.
What Google ultimately wants is to bring all the corporations and institutions in the world to move the Cloud and have them use a cloud centric operating system, provided by Google and hardware supported or designed by Google.
So, this is what I think. We will see a Chrome OS based netbook soon, and not a tablet. Or may be, Netbook and Tablet together.

Shortly after pictures of Chrome OS tablet were posted to the Chromium Developer website, by the Designer of Google Chrome, we found a video by the same guy, showing how the Chrome OS tablet will work.

Techcrunch has posted few pictures of how Google Chrome might look like. Since these pictures were posted by Google Chrome’s designer to the Chromium community, these have to have some serious connection with the real tablet.
“The photos have been posted to the official Chromium site (Chromium is the open source project behind Chrome and ChromeOS). And while Chromium is not actually part of Google, it appears that these mockups were put together by Glen Murphy, Google Chrome’s designer. In other words, they’re the real deal”, TechCrunch Says.
