by Dinu on 26/03/2011

Ever wanted to get rid of all those advertisements and other unwanted widgets and read only the content from a web page ? If you answered yes, this extension is for you. Install this, and next time you get such a page, right click and select  ”Open in text Only Mode”

Text Only

Text Only

This extension uses ViewText.org to render a text-only version of the webpage and works from the context menu of Google Chrome.

Install It from Here. Good job Shankar !

I like this extension more than the ones designed to make a page more readable. Works great. Thanks!

Hope so, same on Ubuntu, except the desktop icon is high resolution(it’s 64×64 on win7 for me :/ ). Btw did anyone with Ubuntu get an error when trying to update to chrome v.12 trough the ubuntu update manager? I had to download the .deb file from the early release channels site to work … wtf?
