Auto Refresh Your Twitter Page with ‘Twitter Refresh’

by Dinu on 10/08/2010

the best twitter comedyYes, I know, there are thousands of twitter applications, web based, desktop applications, and what not ! But I have to admit ; I am old school when it comes to twitter and tweeting.

I use twitter.com for tweeting, no apps, nada ..

Only trouble that I face?  refreshing the twitter page for updates, again and again …. and again

Can I hire someone to hit the refresh button, whenever twitter notifies me of a new tweet ? If you are rich, you can, but I decided to leave this job to a free extension.

Twitter Refresh extension reads the notification ( inbuilt, on twitter.com ), and refreshes your timeline whenever there are updates.  Install the extension and let it work on the background ! and yea, I have kept twitter.com as pinned tab, so that I will have it open all the time without taking up lot of browser space.

And yea, did I mention that this extension will not add any extra icon to your toolbar ? and works on twitter search pages too ?

Install the Extension from here, and tweet this post if you liked it !

I use twitter.com too, most of the time. Perhaps you hadn’t noticed that when you click the light blue bar saying ‘X new tweets’ on the top of your timeline, the tweets are loaded with AJAX without refreshing the page.

But for much more functionality I use ‘monkefly’ chrome exytension. Try PBTweet+ too. Happy tweeting.
