Chromium Blog today announced a new release plan for Google Chrome. With more frequent stable version updates, Google Chrome users will get new features faster.
We will get a stable version every 6 weeks !

The Blog post gives three goals for this change.
- Shorten the release cycle and still get great features in front of users when they are ready
- Make the schedule more predictable and easier to scope
- Reduce the pressure on engineering to “make” a release
This will in turn give us new features as early as possible on the browser, and also help the engineers by giving them a better release calender. So, wait for more frequent updates, new features being added to your favorite browser !
