Facebook Photo Zoom is a simple, light-weight extension that integrates directly into Facebook so you can see the larger images of photo albums, profile photos and more whenever you hover over a zoomable image. This works only for pictures hosted on Facebook. For example, this will not work on a photo shared from Flickr.
When you are on facebook.com the extension will give you a shortcut key next to the facebook chat icon which will let you enable or disable this feature with single mouse click. Or if you want to use a keyboard shortcut, CTRL + SHIFT + Z keys will toggle its functionality.
