okj, that's indeed a problem then.
I don't really have that problem with a 80GB SSD boot disk and a 1000GB disk.
You could change your settings so chrome woudn't keep any browserinformation. But then you don't have that information that is nice to have.

i love to play games but my comp is too old to play :) .. in short my comp is so that it has just 40 GB of space and C:\ drive is running low on space. The files generated by chrome is not few mb.. last time i checked it was 500 mb meaning half a GB. that is too much for me. May be the on newer computers no one will mind.

Its not the space which is the main concern but the junk file that will make the computer slower over time. .

Why complaining about a few hundred mb :S
Chrome is fast and clear. So what matters the file size.

You probably never play any games anymore, because they are soo large ...

You have mostly posted bout the good things bout Chrome. Here is a complaint or something which i found on my system. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Google and check the chrome folder size. Even after cleaning up your cache, bookmarks, history, cookies the folder size is few hundred MB.

Seems google engineers have forgotten to write the file clean up code. :P
