How to Update Extensions Manually on Google Chrome

Next time when your favorite extensions developer releases a new version of a cool plugin, don’t wait for Google Chrome to update it for you, because here at Chromestory.com, you are a power user and you deserver more !

Here is how to update your chrome extensions manually.

1 Open your extensions page, by clicking on Menu > Extensions or, type chrome://extensions/ in addressbar.

2 On the right hand side, click on “Developer Mode”

3 Now, Click on “Update Extensions Now”

4 Done !

This is useful when chrome extensions are not updating automatically for some reason, you can force the update using this method.

Try it !
