Get Ready for the Chrome App Store

by Dinu on 25/05/2010

Okay guys, I know, might be old news for most of you guys. I am posting after almost a month long break.

Google chrome soon will have an app store where we will have free web apps and paid apps. These apps will be directly added to chrome, using your Google account and since everything is on Cloud, will be accessible from any Chrome OS based computer you login to, or while using Chrome on any OS, any computer.

Will you be ready to purchase browser based webapps for chrome if there are paid apps available ?

thanks RRW

App store for Chrome sounds great!
In my opinion, it’ll use Native Client – for more advanced C++ apps. But question is, will those small chrome-os-netbooks be powerful enough for those apps? Ability to run C++ apps might open doors for even ‘bigger’ apps (even some photo/video editing apps) – so more performance will be needed – maybe Chrome OS will be available even on ‘normal’ notebooks, with such applications available.
