Helvetireader ; A minimal, anti-social theme for Google Reader – Well, a clever name, I would say. This is greasemonkey script ( userscript ) that gives a different look for your Google Reader page.
Helvetireader is a hosted user stylesheet for Google Reader served via a user-script. All you need to do is click “Install as a userscript” icon on their website, and reload Google reader.
I tried it and loved the change, But I am not sure if I am going to use it for ever, because I love the minimalism of Google reader’s default layout and color. But, you can try this out and see if you like it !
It’s easy, because, Chrome now supports userscripts by default. So, this script will work like a normal extension on Google Chrome. And as a bonus, you can checkout feedly extension for chrome for more flashy look for your google reader interface.
