Chrome OS Menu

Chrome OS Menu

Okay, here it is, two clicks, and you have the Chrome OS application menu on Google Chrome browser.

1. Open http://welcome-cros.appspot.com/menu on Google Chrome

2. Right click on the tab, and selsect “Pin Tab

If you remember the Chrome OS demo video, the application menu was the most important part of Chrome OS. You will get this functionality on your normal Chrome browser with just two mouse clicks. So, you have most of what Chrome OS does,  provided Google has no hidden surprises for Google Chrome when it is out in the market.

But for now, Click Click ! and enjoy !!

It does not work anymore, but it will work, if you change your user agent to feature the Chrome OS platform.
To do that, right click on a Google Chrome shortcut and append this -
–user-agent=”Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; CrOS i686 9.10.0; en-US)”
To the Target field.
