Hi friends ! this is your buddy google chrome speaking. I wanted to tell you about this small trip that I am taking to Windows 7, a new operating system from Microsoft. I feel proud when I see my name listed on the all new taskbar of windows 7, along with media player and IE 8.
I reached here fine, and the journey was smooth and fast. I was expecting some issues landing here, since I am not so used to this enviornment. But, things went well, download, installation and setup, all worked fine. Infact, I am writing this note to you all from my place in this windows 7 island ! It’s so beautiful around here, really.
I had to change my looks a bit, you know.. you may not recognize me at first sight, if you come here for now… I don’t have that blueish look that I used to have when I was on Windows XP. I have changed my looks according to the theme here, you see I must look a native, as long as I am here right ? But if you guys prefer my blueish looks, you can definitely do that when themes are officially announced.
Even Though this is a 64 bit capable laptop, it’s using 32bit windows 7 on here. It s not making any difference, but I just wanted to note that, for the record. Anyway, this windows 7 thing is beta, right ?
Did anyone else try google chrome on windows 7 ? Did you find any error message ? Need help ? please drop me comments, and help questions are welcome on our new forum

I am using it on Windows 7 now. Have not noticed any problems so far. I actually like it and although Microsoft may be trying to make a search (decision) engine presence on the web it looks like Google has at least as many if not more tricks up their sleeve. It will be interesting to watch these two play out.
Yes, windows 7 looks very stable so far
now, wait for virus’
I just updated to windows 7 from vista hoe premium and neither can I install the chrome nor run it.
what’s the error message ? can you please post in the forum ?
I upgraded from windows vista and did not do a clean install. the link is broken for good of my previous installation. and when I try to install now it just refuses even in compatibility mode.
try deleting chrome related files from c: drive and install again
it should work
I’m currently running Windows 7 RTM x64 and I have seen no major issues, seems to run pretty fantastically. Other than the fact that Google is still tracking every step you make on the net it’s a great browser. Just use a little add-on like Unchrome to remove your personal browser ID or better yet use a chromium based browser like SRWare Iron and you don’t have to worry about the big-brother like tactics that Google so seems to love. Thumbs up for the Chrome browser, thumbs down for orwellian style spying on the end-user!
