I did try the Offline GMail, but it didn't work. I actually had to manually change the url it links to (by clicking on properties and changing the target to C:\Users\{My User}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --app=https://mail.google.com/mail/#inbox
I'm glad I figured it out my way. Thanks again

I actually found a way out. The gmail offline didn't seem to work until I tried the url https://mail.google.com/mail/#inbox. Now it is working fine. Seems no other url works...lol. I don't know if that is how it is supposed to be, but I'm glad it works now.
Thanks for all your support. I really love your blogs.

Thanks for the prompt response.
I deleted all the data in C:\Users\{my user}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Plugin Data\Google Gears and then re-installed gmail offline. Seems now Gmail offline does not even open when I'm offline cos it tries to connect to the Internet. What do you think the problem is?

Thanks. I would try that.
Another quick question. I just activated Gmail Offline using my Google Chrome (on Windows 7 OS) and it works fine when I disconnect from the net while the browser is open (i.e. I'm still able to check my files offline). But once I close the browser and reopen it, I am told "No data exists for this user". Do you know why??

Hi. I actually need help. Well I have bad Internet connection (so bad that you don't want to imagine it) and sometimes I have to disconnect and connect again to get connected.
Now the problem is that sometimes whenever I do this, Google Chrome crashes with the 'Whoa. Google Chrome has just crashed...' message or something similar. I have tried everything, from checking for spamware to removing the Default user profile.

Does anyone here have an idea what the problem is? I am currently running 6.0.408.1 beta version which is the latest version. I love Chrome so much, that I cannot abandon it now. But this problem is REALLY frustrating. Thanx
