We all use Google Chrome’s address bar to start searching for something. It’s a really cool feature that saves lot of time on search based tasks. But, do you know that you can search inside any website using Google Chrome’s Addressbar ? I’ll show you how. Two really really easy methods !!
Method 1.
Type the name of the website, and you will see the right hande side of the addressbar changing as shown below, asking you to press tab, to search the website. So, press tab, ( addressbar will become as shown in second screenshot ) and continue typing.
Method 2.
Type the name of the website, press spacebar once, and then type your query. When you press spacebar after the name of the website, addressbar will become as shown in the screenshot here.

Another Cool Option
Another interesting thing I noticed is this, shown in the screenshot below, a search box for chromestory.com on the new tab page, after I tried steps explained above. This is cool.

Thanks alot for the searchtips via chrome addressbar. Chrome already was the only browser I use (almost anyway) and now it´s even more so!
By the way, Chrome must be the fastest browser out there. I have used it alongside Explorer and Firefox and I can honestly say that it runs laps around these two “competitors” plus that it handles many pages better than the alternatives.
