Google Chrome Version 3.0

Google Chrome Version 3.0 soon, ( with extensions ? )

by Dinu on 01/06/2009

The latest update from Google Chrome team, is showing version number as 3.0.x, on the Dev version of Google Chrome on my laptop. So, I would guess that Google Chrome team is busy developing version 3.0 of Google Chrome.

So, Extensions on Chrome 3.0 ?

Yes, extensions are already working on Dev versions of Google Chrome. However, it needs an additional step ( adding –enable-extensions to your target code ) at the moment. Why ? Because, the extensions UI ( user interface ) is not ready yet.

When extensions UI is ready, you will simply need to click on extensions that you need from Chrome’s extension gallery, in order to install them. So, Extensions are almost there, and Google versions started showing 3.0 already, what does that say ? Google Chrome Version 3.0 = Extensions ?
