Google Chrome handles Javascripts at their best. Google is trying to take advantage of this ability, to push their product forward. With the release of the new website Chrome Experiments, Google presents Javascripts created by developers around the world. You can be one of them !!
What is Chrome Experiments ? The website says ….
We think JavaScript is awesome. We also think browsers are awesome. Indeed, when we talk about them, we say they are the cat’s meow – which is an American expression meaning AWESOME.
In light of these deeply held beliefs, we created this site to showcase cool experiments for both JavaScript and web browsers.
These experiments were created by designers and programmers from around the world. Their work is making the web faster, more fun, and more open – the same spirit in which we built Google Chrome.
Now, if you are a Javascript Developer, you can submit your entry here.
Nice try Google ! But Internet is not just Java… what you think ? Google Chrome has a lot more to do , before it can call itself a perfect browser. When there is a long list of missing features, trying to market the browser just for it’s Java functionality is not going to work
When you edit pages on websites like Wikipedia, or when you edit the css or php of the website online, you work a lot with text area of the page, where you type, edit and modify your content. Earlier, Google chrome used to ignore this area when you do a search with Ctrl + F
With the recent update to the Google Chrome browser, this issue has been fixed. When you search the page from now onwards, the text area also will be included. I see several happy users on the Google Chrome forum after this update ! One of them said
“Okay, with the new beta version (2.0.169.1), the find function FINALLY works to search inside text areas. Hallelujah!”
If you were missing this feature, you can go ahead and try Google Chrome now. Yet another reason to swtich to Google Chrome !!

Google released a new beta for Google Chrome. They have added the beta channel back, for some feedback, since the new release has some important features added to it.
The best thing about this new beta is speed — it’s 25% faster on our V8 benchmark and 35% faster on the Sunspider benchmark than the current stable channel version and almost twice as fast when compared to our original beta version.
Some of the new features you can try out include form autofill, full page zoom and autoscroll(both thanks to a new version of WebKit), and a cool new way to drag tabs out to get a side-by-side view.
Do you want to try this new version ? I will tell you how to change to beta channel : here

When Google Chrome is released for Apple’s Mac computers and Laptops, Safari’s browser market share will be hit … don’t you think so ?
Why people spend so much on their Mac, when they can get a normal PC at a much lower price ? Perfomance, Brand , etc etc … ok agreed.. but a major reason for Mac’s success is it’s user interface, the beauty and the ease to use it .. no questions about this right ?
Google Chrome also got it’s first recognition as “Looks Good, and Works Fast”. It’s something that every Mac lover would love to have on their Desktop or Laptop computers. Google Chrome works faster than any other browser, and looks better than many. It’s going to be the first choice for Mac users, very soon.
With Safari 4 beta, Apple did try to give it a push, but we are yet to see results from this. If Google releases Chrome before Safari 4, stable version is out … well .. that’s going to be pretty interesting for us, and a bit tough for Safari to gain it’s lead on Mac.
What if Google Chrome’s Mac version comes very late ? …. I am not able to make any guess about it right now. Do you have any ?
