Flock is a browser based on Firefox. It uses firefox for its basic functionality, and adds new flock features etc. Flock is a customized browser made from Firefox. Recently, techcrunch reported that its leaving firefox and moving to Google Chrome. The news was so promising, because flock has 6 billion users around the world, and it could be a great push for the Chrome team.
However, Gigaom says that the news is not true. They have only looked at it, to see possiblities, just as they did with Firefox 2. There is no official word from Flock regarding this ( I searched Flock blog for a while when I saw the news ). We can not believe it until we have an official word from the Flock team.
