How to Reset Saved Passwords Settings in Google Chrome

Accidently saved a password that you did not intend to save on your browser  and do not know how to remove it ? Or, are you looking for an option to remove all the saved passwords ? Or, you want to see all those saved passwords on Google Chrome ? Here is how to do it. And Don’t forget to subscribe for more tips like this.

  1. Click the Tools menu tools menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click the Minor Tweaks tab.
  4. In the ‘Passwords’ section, click the Show saved passwords button.

Now, here, you will see the options to manage your saved passwords.  It includes options to remove passwords one by one, or remove them all …  Useful ? Want more tips ? Have questions ? Let me know ..

No.. sorry but I have one time pressed the “NEVER remember password for this site” since I loged in under a diffrent name. The problem now is that Chrome dont remember all my older passwords for this site, and dont give me the option to do so either… Arrg :-) If you have “how to undo this…. Please send to me” THX

Did you ever find a way to get Chrome to save CHANGED passwords?

It is very frustrating that once I’ve removed a saved username and password (because my library account was hacked!), I have to type them in by hand every time from now on, because there’s no way to ask Chrome to remember log-in information once I’ve removed them.

Switched to beta channel at Dinu’s suggestion (thanks!), but it still doesn’t have an option for resetting passwords. Here’s hoping that will make it into the next update.

did you restart after changing to beta ??????
try that ..
and also try the above method, reset that password and try

and for me, it worked only after few tries.. so .. wait n watch

ummm… how about how to tell google that a page that you told it in the past to never ask to store a password for is one that you now want to store a password? I want to store a password for a previously ignored page but thers no option to do that…

well i also have the same problem… chrome is not asking me to save password to the page which i, by mistake, choose never save…

now also…nothing relevent is coming under Minor Tweaks…
plz…help me….as soon as possible…

are you using the latest version ?

please try changing to beta channel, and then update browser, and then restart .. should be fine :)

THIS WORKS!!!
Rename the following UserData folder to something else and restart the browser
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Userdata

I am trying to undo a “Never save password for this site” and its not working, I am using Windows Vista and I don’t have the C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Userdata here. Please help!

I have computer with 3 mail boxes. I need to reset (do not remember) all typing logins?
I can’t find any options to do so.
